10805. This picture of the Tetons can be found on the Mormon Row Road. You have to be there at dawn to get this shot.
8197.5, This picture can be found across the road from the Triangle X ranch. The best time to be there is afternoon on a day when there are good clouds.
8199, This picture is also taken across the road from the Triangle X Ranch. This one is sunset, but dawn works also.
8322, This picture was taken at Schwabackers Landing. Walk upstream , North, from the usual picture spot about 1/4 to 1/2 mile. There are lots of shots in this area.
9151, This shot is from the Snake River Overlook on the outer highway. This shot is a sunset, when the Tetons are in the shade. Dawn shots at this location tend to be better.
9154, Teton White Columbines. Teton Pass in June is a great place to find all kinds of wild flowers. Shoot on a cloudy day, Not in direct sunlight.
9250, Sage and Tetons. This picture was taken at the Black Tail Butte Overlook. The best time to be here is early morning.
9523, Teton Panarama Sunset. Taken at the Snake River overlook. This is probably the best view of the entire Teton Range. This is sunset. But dawn is usually better.
11764, These are glacial rocks, polished for millions of years in glacial streams and icy glaciers. This picture was taken near Gross Ventre River close to the Gross Ventre Campground.
11766, This aspen grove is at the Oxbow. It is a little east of the standard Oxbow shot. Shoot this in early morning. Cloudy, overcast sky is best.
11767, This is the Teton Oxbow at Dawn. This and Schwabackers Landing are the best places for Dawn in the Tetons. Be prepared to share the spot with two million other photographers.
11791-B, Rich Autumn Bushes at the Oxbow. This shot is best in the early morning after dawn.
11796, Two Swans in a Quiet Pond. This pond is off the highway south of Jackson. You need a long lens for this shot. There is a pullover on the highway here.
11798, The forest floor in the Tetons is gorgeous in the Autumn. This shot was along the Leigh Lake trail. There are many shots like this in late September or early October. Overcast light is best.
11801, Teton Range silhouette at sunset. To get silhouettes of the Tetons show up at any of the highway overlooks at sunset. The mountains will be pure black and sunset exposure perfect.
11142, Foggy Morning at the Teton Oxbow. Early morning shots when there is fog are often very good.
11214-A, This is the Snake River Oxbow early in the morning. Shoot in the opposite direction of the Mountains. Not all good Teton shots are of the Mountains.
